Acer palmatum ‘Sango-kaku’

Japanese maples are the perfect option for adding dramatic autumn leaf colour to the garden, as well as year round shape and structure. Acer palmatum ‘Sango-kaku’ is by far one of the best, grown as a large deciduous shrub or small tree; it looks fabulous all year round. Coral-red young branches bear 5-lobed leaves which open pinkish-yellow, turning green in summer and yellow in autumn.
