Hebe macrocarpa var. macrocarpa

This unusual evergreen shrub saves its flowers until late summer and autumn, erupting into bloom as the rest of the garden begins to fade. Long white flower spikes of up to 15cm (6) appear at the stem tips, contrasting beautifully with the leathery, dark green foliage.
