Rudbeckia occidentalis ‘Green Wizard’

The unusual and rather unique looking Rudbeckia occidentalis ‘Green Wizard’ will provide a very different type of hardy perennial for your garden. It is like no other Rudbeckia around as it has no obvious flower-petals to speak of, but has bright green sepals which surround a black central cone, making this interesting Western Coneflower ideal as a back of border filler, due to its good size stems. This out of the ordinary flower with its luscious green foliage can make surprisingly good dried flower arrangements but is also long lasting when cut and stood in water. Height: 120cm (47). Spread: 60cm (24).
