Shallot ‘Meloine’

The first downy mildew resistant shallot from French breeding! Shallot ‘Meloine’ has a rounded bulb shape with reddish-brown skin and crisp white flesh. On maturity it forms a clump of up to 8 delicious bulbs. This heavy cropping variety has a subtle sweet flavour compared to onions.
